Urgent hunt for woman who ‘repeatedly sexually assaulted passenger on train’ as cops release CCTV – The Sun

An URGENT search has been launched for a woman who “repeatedly sexually assaulted a woman” on the Elizabeth line.

The alleged attack took place around 8:30 p.m. on October 12 in London, the British Transport Police said.

Officers have now released CCTV footage of a woman they believe may have information that could help their investigation.

The train was traveling from Tottenham Court Road to Maidenhead, officers said.

Anyone who recognizes the woman in the released CCTV footage is urged to come forward.

Police stressed that she is only a person they wish to speak to at this stage of the investigation.

A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “Officers investigating an incident of sexual assault are releasing this image today in relation to it.

“At around 8.30pm on October 12, a woman on board the Elizabeth Line from Tottenham Court Road to Maidenhead was repeatedly sexually assaulted by another woman.

“Officers believe the woman in the picture may have information that could assist their investigation.

“Everyone who recognizes her is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting number 223 from October 13.

“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
