Usher's Teen Sons Share Special Moments from Super Bowl 2024 as They Witnessed Dad's Iconic Halftime Show

Usher’s teenage sons enjoyed the sights and sounds of the big game

Usher celebrated a big moment in his career with his favorite people.

The Super Bowl LVIII halftime performer, 45, hung out with his family ahead of the electrifying performance, as seen in photos shared by sons Naviyd Ely, 15, and Usher “Cinco” V, 16, on their Instagram pages.

“I’m actually just here for the concert 🤷🏾‍♂️,” Naviyd joked in his caption, while his brother said he wished Lamar Jackson was on the court.

Usher was seen ahead of the show with his new wife Jenn Goicoechea. While son Sire Castrello, 2½, was not spotted in the photos, daughter Sovereign Bo, 3½, was seen in one of her big brother’s videos that day.

Usher reveals his kids gave him ‘tons of notes’ before his Super Bowl halftime show

In September, Usher shared a cute video on TikTok showing off his dance moves with all four of his kids.

In the clip, the “Good Good” singer and his kids stand close to each other while jamming along to “Wassup Gwayy” by FamousSally & YB. He added at the top of the video, “When you’re asked to bring the kids to work…” and wrote, “Our honest reaction” at the bottom.

“My Twinnem,” he captioned the video.

Usher previously said his kids “don’t care” about his fame.

“My boys enjoy it. I have one son, Cinco, who doesn’t like being called Usher, who tries to get away from it,” Tamron told Hall in 2020. “Then another son, Naviyd, who really likes Fun.”

Naviyd, then 13, watched Usher’s Las Vegas residencies and offered his father some constructive feedback, he revealed.

“He’s not only watching my show, he’s criticizing me,” Usher said. “He says, ‘You missed this, you didn’t do this.’ And I say, ‘Yeah, that’s the point. It shouldn’t be the same every night.'”

He added that he does not mind the comments. “If it’s an inspiration for him, then great. And if it makes him feel pushed to be creative, then great.”
