UP Schools: The Uttar Pradesh state government will introduce changes in the school timetable. According to the new education policy, the Government is ready to reduce the hours of study in schools.

According to reports, the schools will have a total of 29 hours of classes per week, with classes taking place between 5 and 5.5 hours Monday through Friday. Classes will be held every second Saturday of the month from 2 a.m. to 8 p.m., while two Saturdays will be holidays.

Schools also have a maximum time limit for classes. According to the new educational policy, the maximum duration of classes for general subjects will be between 45 and 35 minutes, while classes for major subjects will last 50 minutes.

According to reports, the government has ordered the Department of Education to prepare new rules for studies in schools under the National Curriculum Framework of the New Education Policy.

Based on the implementation of the new rules, the class duration will be 35 minutes and the main subjects including subjects like Maths, Hindi, English, Science etc. will be 40 to 50 minutes.

In order to make it easier for students to study, the new educational policy introduced a new method of teaching, according to which students will be able to attend school without a bag for at least 10 days a year. Students will be taught orally and experimentally according to reports.
