After reaching a certain age, landowners were deprived of their land and given a pension. However, pensions are meager. When the British occupied the Rayalaseema area, Narasimha refused to share in the revenue generated in the area. Narasimha Reddy was the military governor of Rayalaseema. Ten thousand for his head. On July 23, 1846, Narasimha Reddy led an army to attack the British troops at Giddalur in Andhra Pradesh. In order to arrest Narsimha Reddy, the British army captured his family members in Kadapa. To free his family, he moved to the Nallamala forest. When the British people came to know that he was hiding in the forest, they intensified their operations around the forest and Narsimha Reddy returned to Koilkuntla.
