Profession

In 1991, he made his debut in the Tamil film En Rasavin Manasile. He has acted in several Tamil films such as Kaalam Maari Pochu (1996), Vetri Kodi Kattu (2000), Thavasi (2001), Sutta Pazham Sudatha Pazham (2016) and Kolamavu Kokila (2018). He made his debut as a comedian in the television series Athu Ithu Yethu (2014). He has appeared in television comedy shows such as Sirichha Pochu (2014) and Kalakka Povathu Yaaru Champions (2019).

He was reportedly rushed to private hospitals including Billroth Hospital and Vijaya Hospital in Chennai on August 24, 2020, due to severe chest pain. His hands were paralyzed and he was on a ventilator. Due to lack of funds, he was rushed to Omandurar Estate, a public hospital in Chennai. On the morning of September 10, 2020, he died of cardiac arrest and stroke.
