Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) schools will start class 10, 12 soon
VMC Schools: The Vadodara Municipal Corporation Board of Primary Education will soon start classes for standard 10th and 12th standard students. According to reports, the corporation will start class 10 in the next academic year, while class 12 will start in the coming years.
Last year, the commission decided to start classes for the ninth grade in four schools. However, with the academic year ending in 2024, the future of these students is uncertain in case they want to continue studying in the 10th grade. In view of this, the civic body has decided to start Class 10 in our schools.
Currently, 225 students attend ninth grade in four schools run by the municipal corporation. Four principals were appointed in these schools as well. According to Minesh Pandya, chairman of the board of elementary education, classes will be added in all four schools that offer Class 9. Along with this, Class 9 will also start in six other schools and will continue to add one class each year until students they reach the 12th grade.
Pandya also added that the board will recruit more staff if required and in the long run, the corporation plans to have at least one model school providing education from nursery to class 12 with good infrastructure. VMS also started six English medium schools including two schools consisting of nursery to 8th grade, two from 6th grade and two with only nursery level.
Gujarat State Exam 2024
Gujarat Board has announced the GSEB Class 10 and Class 12 Exam Dates 2024. As per the announced schedule, Gujarat Board will conduct the exams from 11th to 26th March 2024. The Class 10th and 12th Science exams will be held from 11th to 22nd. March 2024, while the 12th grade exams for the general stream will be conducted by March 26, 2024.
