Actor Tyler Alvarez joins Hulu Veronica Mars As a completely new character. The reboot will only contain eight episodes. This time, Veronica’s spring break in the fictional town of Neptune will be disrupted by a series of murders. Mars Investigations will be hired by the victim’s parents. But their efforts to solve the case will be stymied by all parties, including the town’s wealthiest men, who are looking to bring Neptune’s tourism industry down if it means the end of the party.
Veronica Mars UPN began operations in 2004 (later merged with The WB to become The CW). The show ran for three seasons, ending in 2007. The series centers on Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell), a teenager who also works as a private investigator. In 2013, show creator Rob Thomas started a Kickstarter campaign for a Veronica Mars Movie. The $2 million goal was reached in less than 10 hours, and $5 million was ultimately earned. The film was released in 2014 and was well received by fans and critics, and attracted the attention of streaming service Hulu. In 2018, Hulu and Warner Bros. struck a deal to rerun the series on a limited basis.

Since the announcement of resumption of work, Veronica Mars has been steadily adding to its cast.according to deadlineTyler Alvarez is the show’s newest hire.Alvarez has previously appeared on numerous other television shows, including american saboteur, Orange is the new blackand fosters. He will play Juan-Diego De La Cruz, a member of the Pacific Coast Highway motorcycle gang.
Alvarez isn’t the first new face to join the show. It was previously reported that J.K. Simmons and Clifton Collins Jr. will also appear. Veronica Mars Some familiar faces from the original show will also reunite, including Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Frances Capra and Adam Ross.
Fans of the original show weren’t the only ones happy to see Veronica Mars return. The cast also shared their excitement with Bell, posting a video showcasing her enthusiasm for returning to the role after more than a decade. While the numbers were limited, they exceeded some expectations when fundraising for the film began. It also illustrates the impact a loyal fanbase can have.
