Vijay Kumar Arora is an Indian cinematographer and director, known for the Punjabi film Harjeeta (2018).

According to him, he completed his studies in Amritsar and then went to Mumbai to pursue his dream of becoming a director. Therefore, he started working from an early age. He lost his mother when he was a child, and many of his relatives lived in London, so his grandmother wanted him to move to London with them, but his relatives did not take him with them. They thought Vijay would be a bad influence on their children because he had cut his hair short, which was not popular among Punjabi families.

- Once he was invited to participate in the shooting of the movie “Dhoom” but he did not accept the offer as he was shooting for a movie with his friends at that time.
- In an interview, he talked about the Punjabi film industry and said that people want to watch entertaining films rather than films with a strong message. He was afraid to do the film Harjeeta as he thought the film might not be successful.
- In 2023, he appeared as a guest on The Kapil Sharma Show along with Satinder Sartaaj and Neeru Bajwa.
