Threats to Salman Khan
In June 2022, Vikram Brar appeared in numerous media reports for sending threatening letters to Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan, causing controversy. In 2008, Lawrence Bishnoi, a gangster accused of murdering Sidhu Moosewala and a close friend of Vikram Brar, was reportedly Salman Khan made a statement to assassinate Salman Khan when he was brought to court in the presence of many police officers.

Later, in June 2022, Haryana police went to Pune for interrogation in the murder case of singer Sidhu Moosewala, where they interrogated Santosh Jadhav and the alleged Vikram Brar’s name was mentioned in the case of Siddhesh Kamble, who was suspected of murdering Sidhu Moosewala. Dinesh Chauhan, Police Inspector of Kurukshetra Crime Branch, while talking to media persons said,

Thereafter, on June 11, 2022, Vikram Brar through his respective Instagram account refused to be involved in any way in the assassination of Sidhu Moosewala. Furthermore, he added that he was not involved in the Salman Khan and Salim Khan threat letter case. He then asked police in an Instagram post to take up the letter case and remove his name from the case.
