Vinay Pathak is an Indian actor, theater artist, television host and film producer. He is famous for his work in various Hindi comedy films.

Vinay Pathak was born on Saturday, July 27, 1968 in Behia, Bihar, India (55 years old as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Leo. Until 1982, he studied at Vikas Vidyalaya in Ranchi. For classes 11 and 12, he studied at St. Columba’s College, Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. He pursued BA (Hons.; then a two-year degree) in English from Allahabad University. To pursue his MBA, he moved to the United States and joined Stony Brook University in New York. However, he learned that in college, a Bachelor of Arts degree is a four-year program. So he completed his bachelor’s degree there for two years. He then gave up on the idea of pursuing an MBA and instead pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree there. His acting coach Farley Richmond suggested that he start acting in Hindi plays in India.
