The AS44 is a new Assault Rifle in Warzone Pacific Caldera for players to unlock and upgrade. Giving this weapon the best loadout will increase its attack power and range. With the new Pacific Caldera update, the entire island has been completely changed. While the heavy focus has been on all the new content, there have also been new balance changes to classic weapons. The AS44 has been introduced to the game as part of Call of Duty Vanguard’s release. To create the best loadout for it, players will need to unlock it first.
To get to AS44 Assault Rifle, players will need to reach at least level 33. Fortunately, since Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard are so heavily tied together, unlocking it in one game will automatically unlock it in the other. It’s much easier to reach level 33 in Vanguard due to the wide variety of game modes and challenges available. For Warzone-only players, head into the Plunder mode, as players will come back after they are killed, making it one of the faster ways to level up in Warzone. Additionally, it saves tons of time between games.
After unlocking the AS44, the player will need to continue to use it in games to unlock all of its attachments. With every challenge, XP is given to both the player and the weapon they are using. The AS44 works best when it supports a Sniper Rifle as it fundamentally works better in close-combat situations. On the other hand, the AS44 Assault Rifle is a highly versatile weapon in Warzone Pacific Caldera as it works best as a rapid-firing weapon. The gun has long-range but also fulfills the role of an SMG when used with the right attachments. To bring the best out of the AS44, players should use the best available Warzone attachments on it.

- Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer: This will make the weapon easier to control when firing.
- Barrel: Kovalevskaya 615mm: This will make the weapon easier to control when firing.
- Optic: Slate Reflector: Works great for taking down enemies that are far away.
- Stock: Zac Skeletal: Increases aim-down-to-sight speed.
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip: This will make the weapon easier to control when firing.
- Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Hollow Point: Increases aim-down-to-sight speed and increases damage.
- Rear Grip: Fabric Grip: Increases aim-down-to-sight speed.
- Perk: Gung-ho: Allows players to fire while sprinting.
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded: This will make it easier to carry more ammo.
Players should use Double Time, Overkill, and Combat Scout for the three perks. While there are new perks in Warzone Pacific Caldera, these are the best to use for this weapon. Double Time increases how long the player can sprint, making it easier to get around. Overkill allows players to carry two Primary Weapons at a time. Make sure to use a Sniper Rifle as the second option to make up for the lack of range on the AS44. Finally, combat Scout will highlight enemies the player has damaged. Not only that, but when playing with friends, this perk will also highlight them for the player’s teammates—using this loadout to bring the best out of the AS44.
