THIS is the terrifying moment a group of moped thugs tried to “rip off a cyclist” from a cyclist – but ended up with instant karma.
Shocking footage shows an innocent cyclist bravely fighting off a gang after they attacked him in a quiet street.

Rafal Kalinowski was cycling to work when a group of men quickly attacked him wielding a hammer – knocking Rafal to the floor.
The group could be seen earlier via a cycling Go-Pro, seconds before the attack.
However, after an extremely dangerous maneuver, the thugs were forced to “face the consequences of their actions”.
Rafal, from Birmingham, UK, quickly got up from the floor and appeared to spray the thugs with red criminal identification gel.
And within moments, the gang members made haste to escape and flee the street.
They even left an attacker with a hammer who then had to flee on his feet.
Posting the horrifying moment on YouTube, viewers were left distraught on Rafal’s behalf.
One viewer commented: ‘Congratulations! I wish there were fewer situations like this.’
Another added: ‘Well done!’
It comes after an idiot driver received “instant karma” for checking a lorry’s brakes on a motorway.

Surveillance footage posted to YouTube shows a black Ford Mondeo overtaking a truck at high speed.
The driver then violently gets out in front of the truck and brakes.
This practice, known as a brake check, is intended to scare the driver behind and force them to brake or risk a collision.
It’s equal parts dangerous and illegal and idiotic, but unfortunately it’s become common among some of the more unpleasant road users.
However, in this case, the Ford driver received a dose of “sweet karma” immediately after using the tactic.
The young man apparently failed to check the surroundings before trying it on because a few moments later a couple of police officers on motorcycles entered the frame.
Within seconds the blue lights were on and the Mondeo pulled over at the next exit for the driver to “face the consequences”.
Despite a series of hand gestures out the window, the driver complied and was last seen turning down the exit road sandwiched between two police bikes.
