PEOPLE forced to live in Britain’s “Caravan City” claim they are being left to rot and drown in rubbish because they can’t afford the high rents.
Static houses line the roads and residents claim to have even found human excrement on the streets as poverty engulfs the area.

Dozens of caravans are parked in the middle of residential areas in Bristol as the rising cost of living squeezes household budgets.
Many people who live in them say they have lost everything and now often have to live in small motorbikes just to stay off the streets.
Makeshift houses often lack proper plumbing, running water or heating, leaving their residents vulnerable and blighting the area.
Some residents have to use bins for drainage, while others have even put up homemade signs to try and ward off the tipper flies that are ruining the back alleys.
One local woman, who saw encampments popping up near her home, told YouTuber JoeFish about the extent of the problem.
She said: “I didn’t mind them being there.
“But in the back alley there was poop with toilet paper at various intervals along the way.
“I think if you’re a caravanner you just go where there’s room, it doesn’t seem to be controlled.
“But it’s better than people living on the streets.
“It’s a very bad situation, the rents are terrible.”
We live in ‘Caravan City’ – the locals complain, but it’s too expensive to rent
Indeed, Bristol is the second most expensive city to rent in England, behind only London.
Joe also spoke to Martin, who lives in what is essentially a garden shed on wheels in town.
He explained that he spent his last penny on the van after losing his job, home and partner in one year.
Taking Joe on a tour, he said there was a “nice little community” of lifers, but admitted it had a hard time with the lack of sanitation.

Martin’s bed took up most of the single room and was constructed of plywood boards with a thin blanket on top.
The only other things he had were a small table where he kept his food, a garbage bag hanging from the wall, and a bucket he used as a toilet.
Joe added: “We’ve barely scratched the surface.
– There are rows and rows of caravans, as far as the eye can see.
It comes after The Sun visited the sites and locals said they “no longer feel safe” in the area/
Meanwhile, experts fear a “summer of death” in poor communities thanks to a drug that can kill with a dose the size of a “grain of sand”.
