You’ve probably seen “he/him” or something similar in someone’s email signature or social media bio. When you see this, it means that the person is indicating that they want to be referred to with a masculine pronoun, such as “He sent an email” or “That’s his address.” Everyone uses pronouns, but the way people use them may be new to you.
