It’s stellar why you should get your vision tested and whether or not you should see an eye doctor.

And that’s because the numbers you see in the image can determine if you are farsighted or nearsighted.

If you saw the number 3246, it means that you most likely have myopia and astigmatism.

Astigmatism is when your eye is shaped more like a rugby ball than a football, causing light to focus in more than one place.

This leads to blurred vision, headaches and eyestrain, according to the NHS website.

If you saw 3240, you have astigmatism, but you are not myopic.

And if you can see 1246, then you only have myopia but no astigmatism.

Meanwhile, another optical illusion claims it can help determine how good your eyesight is.

The image has the words “far” and “near” scribbled on white paper against a green background.

According to HecticNick on TikTok, most people see the word “close” in the image.

But depending on how good your eyesight is, you might see the word “far” first.

In a recent video, the scammer asked his 3.9 million followers: “What word do you see in this image?

“Most people see the word ‘near’, but depending on your vision, you may see the word ‘far’ first!

“Can you see them both?

“Here’s a tip if you can only see ‘near’. Try closing your eyes to about 90 percent and you’ll see ‘far.'”

Since then, the video has amassed more than 239,000 views and nearly 32,000 likes.

In the comments section, many viewers reported seeing both words.

Meanwhile, some weren’t convinced that optical illusion was very difficult.

One user said: “I see both and not [sic] find out”.

While another said, “I see you’re bored.”
