Webster – Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the untimely death of Amanda Dabrowski, a vibrant soul taken from us far too soon. On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, Amanda was tragically attacked at O’Connor’s Restaurant in Worcester, an incident that would change the lives of her loved ones forever. She was only 31 years old.
Born February 18, 1988 in Southbridge, MA, Amanda was the beloved daughter of Edward and Beth (Cyganiewicz) Dabrowski. Words cannot express the deep sorrow experienced by her heartbroken parents as well as her beloved sister, Victoria Dabrowski, all of Webster.
Amanda’s beloved Great Dane, Gus, was her faithful companion, providing comfort during her all too short time with us. She is also survived by caring aunts, uncles and cousins who share the pain of her loss.
Amanda’s academic achievements were a testament to her dedication and passion. She graduated from St. Louis and went on to attend prep school in Marianapolis, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in criminal justice from Northeastern University.
Her career as a quality control microbiologist at Bristol-Myers Squibb in Devens reflected her commitment to excellence and her desire to make a significant contribution to the field.
In addition to her professional activities, Amanda had a zest for life. She adored her beloved Great Dane, Gus, who brought her immense joy. As a wine connoisseur, she has embraced the intricacies of the vine, sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm through her blog, aptly named “The Glorious Grape.”
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, at 3:00 PM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley. Prior to the service, business hours will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
