What happened to Dusty’s leg on Swamp People?
Dusty Crum, who is famous for hunting reptiles on Swamp People, had a really terrible accident. It happened in November 2021 when he had a flat tire while driving a car on a highway in Florida.
The car overturned and Dusty’s leg was badly injured when it got stuck through the broken window. He had to have five surgeries and spent a long time in the hospital to get better. Dusty didn’t have insurance, so he had to pay a lot of money for his medical bills.
Fortunately, people were kind and donated more than $20,000 to help him on GoFundMe. Dusty said thank you to everyone who helped him. Although it was difficult, Dusty is determined to return to his favorite thing: hunting pythons in the Everglades. He is grateful for all the support he has received.
Who is Dusty Crum?
Dusty Crum is a tough and smart guy who grew up in the swamps. He has learned to make the most of what he has, which he calls a “living hucklebuck.” Whether it’s swapping things for car parts or fixing a friend’s leaky roof, Dusty does things his way.
When it comes to snake hunting, Dusty trusts his instincts and feels the ground with his bare feet, almost never wearing shoes. People call him “the wild man” because he spent his entire life hunting pythons in the Florida Everglades. Dusty Crum is a skilled hunter who is always ready for a new adventure in the wild.
