Eileen Grimshaw (also Phelan) is a fictional character appearing in the popular British ITV soap opera, Coronation Street. Played by Sue Cleaver, she first appeared on screen on 3 May 2000. Throughout the series, Eileen’s storyline revolved around her relationships with various characters, including Dennis Stringer, Ed Jackson, Pat Stanaway, Jerry Morton, Jesse Chadwick, Paul Kershaw , Adrian Mortimer and Michael Rodwell.
