What happened to Yolande in Eastenders?
Yolande Trueman went through a very difficult experience with Pastor Clayton. This made her very upset, but she had not yet told her husband Patrick about it. Tonight she struggled to tell him what had happened, so she asked her friend Elaine to help explain. When Elaine told Patrick, it was hard for him to understand and accept.

How did Patrick react to Yolande’s behavior?
Patrick noticed that Yolande’s behavior had changed a lot lately and was worried that she might be sick. Yolande knew Patrick needed to know the truth, so she asked her friend Elaine to tell him over the phone.
When Patrick heard the news, he tried to talk to Yolande, but she locked herself in the bathroom because she was upset. Patrick got very angry and wanted to talk to Pastor Clayton, but Yolande stopped him because she was upset. When they got home, they had a serious talk about what Yolande had been through.
At the end of the episode, Patrick promised to always support Yolande, no matter what. Yolande felt stronger with Patrick’s support and decided not to involve the police, but instead told church officials about Pastor Clayton.

Who played Yolande Trueman in Eastenders?
Yolande Trueman plays Angela Wynter. Yolande is a character from the TV series EastEnders. She first appeared in 2003 and was introduced as Patrick Trueman’s love interest. Yolande is known as caring and principled.
Her stories often revolve around her relationship with Patrick, including adoption, conflicts with other characters like Pat Evans, and dealing with racism. She left the series in 2008, but returned for two guest appearances in 2017. Yolande returned to the series in 2023 and returned in August 2023.
