Doctor Who new season
The new season of Doctor Who starts on May 11, 2024 and will run until June 22. Russell T. Davies returns as head writer and producer after working on the series from 2005 to 2010. This is his fifth series. It is the fourteenth series since the show started in 2005 and the fortieth overall.
The announcement of this series comes as Davies returns for the show’s 60th anniversary in 2023. Bad Wolf is also joining as a co-producer. This series is being called “Season One” because of some production changes and because Disney+ now has the international rights to Doctor Who.
