Your brain is constantly playing with your sense of reality, according to cognitive neuroscientists.
To that end, online printing experts Instantprint have released this fun challenge – to help quiz lovers determine their animal personality type.
It features brightly colored lines and tricks your eyes when trying to see if there is actually an animal hidden within the frame.
Instantprints reckons that if you can correctly guess the mystery creature, it could mean you’re a born leader in the workplace.
Throughout history, illusions have been used to amaze, amuse, deceive, and even frighten us.
But they’re also a stunning window into how our brains work, ABC News in Australia reported.
Mark Williams, a cognitive neuroscientist at Macquarie University in Sydney, told the broadcaster: “What we actually see or hear or feel or taste or smell isn’t really what’s out there, it’s what we think is out there.
“Since we don’t see the world as it really is, illusions explain to us how we create the world we actually perceive.”
Branka Spehar, a psychologist from Sydney who studies visual perception and attention, said that sometimes we can overlook the simplest details.
“There’s a gap in our perception every time we blink, every time we move our eyes,” she said.
So what creature do you see in the company’s optical illusion?
The animal carefully hidden in the colorful picture above is a lion.
They are often associated with dominant personality traits – including being the ideal leader, due to their courage, strength and self-confidence.
If you have spotted it, it could mean that you are a natural decision maker.
Want to see more hidden animals? Only the sharp-eyed will be able to spot the lions in the safari park in 10 seconds.
