Halloween may have come and gone, but Hollywood decked itself out in scary decorations for the movie premiere Nosferatu.
The horror film written and directed by Robert Eggers is a remake of a silent classic Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horrors. A 1922 film that was inspired by Bram Stoker’s film Dracula and also remade in 1979, it gave cinema one of the icons of horror: the bald Count Orlok with pointy ears and fangs.
And the reality TV star who is a makeup artist recreated the look for the 2024 premiere at China’s TCL Theater on Thursday, December 12.
So who is underneath the prosthetics and makeup? It’s nothing but popular RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Katya Zamolodchikova, who often accompanies Katya.

Katya was a fan favorite on season 7 of the drag competition series and later starred in All-Stars 2 where she finished second. After Drag Raceteamed up with Season 7 co-star Trixie Mattel to star in the web series UNHhhh, Trixie & Katya Show and Netflix I like to watch.
Katya arrived at Nosferatu premier wearing prosthetic ears and fangs, pale make-up with dark sunken eyes and long claw-like nails. She was accompanied by puppet and costume artist Astor Yang, who appeared dressed as Orlok’s victim Ellen Hutter.
The remake of Count Orlok stars Bill Skarsgård and Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter. The rest of the cast consists of Nicholas Hoult, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Emma Corrin, Ralph Ineson, Simon McBurney and Willem Dafoe.

Inside the theater, which was built in 1927 and has its own gothic vibe, Katya and Yang posted their Instagram Stories with a black and white filter, continuing the 1922 theme.
Drag Race was well represented in the premiere, with Season 13’s Gottmika, Season 14’s June Jambalaya, and Pit Crew member Bruno Alcantara. Check out their photos below:

This is not the first time that a Drag Race contestant caused a gruesome scene on the red carpet. At the 2023 Primetime Emmy Awards, Season 15 contestant Princess Poppy turned heads as the Green Goblin.
Nosferatu opens in theaters on Christmas Day.
