Similarly, during his freshman year at UConn, Sango started all 23 games, including the final 19. He had seven hits in double figures, including four of the final five games of the season. In addition, in the victory against Seton Hall, the athlete had a career high of 16 points and nine rebounds. During his freshman year at UConn, Sango was named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week twice.
