Australian politician John Pesutto is a politician. From November 2014 to November 2018, he served as the representative of the Liberal Party in the Legislative Assembly of Victoria, holding the seat of Hawthorn.

Pesutto attended Traralgon Catholic Regional College and the University of Melbourne for a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce. He worked as an election officer for Russell Broadbent and a lawyer for Littleton Hackford.


Pesutto won the Liberal MP for Hawthorn by defeating Institute of Public Affairs candidate John Roskam. In Matthew Guy’s shadow ministry, he served as shadow attorney general.

John Pesutto has been nominated by the Liberal Party to represent Hawthorn in the 2022 Victorian state election 14 December 2021 The consensus is that Pesutto is a moderate Liberal. In the 2022 Victorian state election, Pesutto is currently narrowly leading independent Melissa Lowe in the seat of Hawthorn.

John Pesutto was born on September 5, 1970 in Traralgon, Victoria, Australia. As of 2022, he is 52 years old. His wife’s name is Betty Pesutto and together they have three children.
