Season 20 of The Bachelor premieres on ABC this month, with 25 suitors for Charity Lawson. Aaron Schwartzman, a 33-year-old firefighter from San Diego, California, is one of them. In the upcoming season, he will try to court Charity, a previous contestant on The Bachelor. According to his ABC bio:
“Aaron S. is a true Superman.” This brave firefighter described himself as a loving spouse with a dark side. Aaron S. is looking for a bride-to-be who can help him overcome his rough facade.”
Only time will tell if Charity will be able to glimpse Aaron’s intriguing side.
Who is Aaron Schwartzman? What does he do for a living?
Aaron Schwartzman will compete for the heart of Charity Lawson on season 20 of The Bachelorette among 24 other suitors. According to his ABC bio:
“He admires his parents the most, who instilled in him and his sister the belief that they can achieve anything, including cage diving with great white sharks!” When he’s not rooting for the 49ers, this outdoorsman can be found surfing or paddleboarding.”

Aaron’s ABC profile also includes a few unusual facts about him, such as his favorite movie, Austin Powers. It is also noted that “everyone’s birthday” is his favorite holiday and that he prefers “amo-yo delivered and lots of extras”.
His LinkedIn profile states that he started his professional career working on a ranch. He later worked as a paramedic for American Medical Response before being promoted to paramedic firefighter for the San Miguel Consolidated Fire Protection District. He is currently employed with the City of Oakland Fire Department as a Fire Paramedic. Aaron spent a year at California State University studying agriculture. He graduated from Mission College, where he studied fire science and firefighting. He then attended WestMed College to become a paramedic. According to his Instagram feeds, Aaron comes across as an active man who is seen participating in various outdoor sports. He also shared several photos of himself as a firefighter.

The Bachelor Season 20 will premiere on ABC on Monday, June 26, 2023 at 9:00 PM ET and will be hosted by Jesse Palmer. The official summary of the debut episode is as follows:

Later, during a cocktail party, Charity’s brother, Nehemiah, discovers a bomb and the evening takes a surprising turn. All the hopefuls will be trying to win the heart of Charity Lawson, who shot to fame on Zach Shallcross’ season 27 of The Bachelor. Rejected by Zach at the end of the season, Bachelor Nation producers chose her as the next Bachelor.
