Who is Alina Habba?
Speaking after Donald Trump was indicted on federal charges over classified documents and obstructing federal authorities from recovering them, Alina Habba said: “He is the biggest threat to the corrupt political system that we have, to the corrupt judicial system that we have. … The only way they can protect themselves right now is to make sure that Trump has no voice and the American people have no voice.” In addition, she added that the public will have a different view of the case against her when her team organizes a defense in court. On Fox News Sunday, Trump’s lawyer said there is context to everything, that context will be presented in the defense, and that this will be our opportunity. “We didn’t get a chance to give our side.” According to Alina Habba, the former president’s team will refute all of the materials presented by Jack Smith in his 37-count indictment. Habba accused special counsel Jack Smith of being politically motivated for his investigation of classified documents.
She said: “There’s a coordinated dance that becomes obvious to Americans because they’re smart. What they’re doing is saying, ‘Look at this shiny ball, let’s go after Trump. Whatever you hear about the Bidens, don’t worry. Trump, Trump, Trump’. It’s called Trump derangement syndrome, and now it’s getting so sick. According to several unnamed sources, Trump could at least face federal charges. In the midst of this story, a story emerged that Trump’s lawyer, Habba, would not represent him in his legal cases and he was given a different role. The official confirmation has not yet come out.
