Arlene Golonka was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 23, 1936, she was known as Arlene Leanore Golonka. In Ben Gazzara’s musical “Night Circus” Arlene had great success. On November 17, 1958, the play premiered in the United States of America. After only a week of preview performances, the play was immediately transferred to Broadway, where it premiered on December 2, 1958. Ben’s ‘Night Circus’, on the other hand, only had seven Broadway runs before it was pulled from the schedule. After that, she continued to work on more plays. Jackie Gleason, Walter Pidgeon and Robert Morse worked together on the show ‘Take Me Along’ from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. During the year, they appeared 448 times.
After appearing in Neil Simon’s ‘Blow Your Horn’ on Broadway, she also tried her hand as an actress on television. He lived in Los Angeles after moving there in 1967 and has lived there ever since. She has also been a voice actress for many animated and live-action TV shows.
