Ashley Coen, wife of Liam Coen, recently revealed that they are expecting their second son. So far, the football coach and his family have successfully started 2024. When Liam met Ashley on a dating platform, he was already an experienced coach. The couple married in 2021 and had their first child, Jackson, the same year.
Before marrying Liam, Ashley was an executive producer based in Los Angeles. After the wedding, the couple moved to Lexington, where Liam coached for a year before returning to the Rams. Liam returned to Kentucky as the offensive coordinator in 2023, and is currently set to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL. Coen replaces Dave Canales and has already gotten the nod from QB Baker Mayfield.

Ashley Coen, Liam’s wife, was a long time soccer lover before she met the coach. Ashley said in one of her interviews that Peyton Manning was her first QB crush. Ashley was born on October 8, 1986 in the Philippines. Her family moved to the United States in 1991, following the eruption of Mount Pinatubo, which destroyed a military installation. Ashley’s father served in the Air Force, so the family decided to move to the United States.
Her parents divorced shortly after the family landed in the United States, although she maintained a close relationship with her mother and father. She stayed with her mother until high school, then moved to her father’s house in Northern Virginia. During an interview with Kelly Stafford, Ashely mentioned that she traveled across the country with her parents and attended 11 different schools. So she was ready to be the wife of a football coach. Matthew Stafford’s wife, Kelly, also managed to get some fun facts from Ashley, like how she met the football coach. Most football coaches and spouses of players met their better halves in college or high school.
This was not the case with Liam and Ashley. Liam was a football coach for 10 years before he met Ashley. The two met on the dating app Hinge, and Liam made the first move. Ashley initially rejected his overtures. The soccer coach persisted and they finally went on their first date for the New Year. When Ashley met Liam, she was an executive producer at a visual effects company. She previously worked as a director’s representative. Ashley quit her job after the onset of COVID-19 and the football lifestyle got the better of her.
Liam and Ashley had a baby boy
Liam was coaching the Rams when he met Ashley. It first appeared on Ashley’s Instagram account in 2020, in a picture dump. The coach was spotted trying to touch Ashley’s beloved dog, who was previously seen in a Rams jersey. The pair soon made things official, with Ashley uploading a collection of photos from the moment Liam got down on one knee. Ashley uploaded a video on January 20, 2021 showing off her diamond ring while Liam kisses her on the forehead. Ashley then posted a post describing the moment Liam proposed to her on a pier in Malibu.
Ashley revealed two months after getting engaged that Baby Coen would be arriving in August 2021. She posted a gender reveal video, which was filmed in their living room and only required blowing up balloons instead of lighting a forest fire. On August 23, 2021, the couple became parents to Jackson Ford Coen for the first time. Liam and Ashley are also getting married in 2021, but have yet to release photos from their ceremony. Ashley posted numerous family pictures on Instagram, and last month she revealed that she and Liam are expecting a baby boy at the end of June.
