The son of August Busch 111 and Susan Hornibrook, August Busch IV was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on June 15, 1964. In 1860, his great-great-great-grandfather Eberhard Anheuser bought the Anheuser-Busch brewing company. His father was the organization’s president and former CEO. When August was five years old, his parents divorced, and he moved in with his mother. He saw his father only at the brewery, and even then their interaction was mostly related to work. He graduated from Saint Louis University with a degree in finance. Later, he graduated from the same university with a master’s degree in business administration.
