Actor Stevin John is best known to children around the world as Blippi, a curious children’s entertainer who teaches them everything from colors to counting and the weather. At home with his fiancee Alyssa Ingham, John is also teaching his own child plenty of lessons.
John and Ingham have been together almost as long as he’s been wearing Blippi’s unique orange glasses — he premiered the character in 2014 on YouTube, and the couple started dating in 2015.
They have since built a life together, got engaged in 2021, rescued their two dogs, Lyn and Lily, and welcomed son Lochlan in 2022.

John and Ingham share a passion for educational content for children.
According to her LinkedIn, Ingham has been head of communications for Kideo Inc., the company behind Blippi, since January 2018. Ingham’s bio says her duties include “working to create educational content for children for a multicultural audience.”
She has a master’s degree

Ingham graduated from Central Washington University with a BA in Psychology and Family Studies in 2017. Five years later, she obtained her master’s degree.
“28 made me a mom, finished my masters, moved twice and spent so much time with my loved ones,” she wrote on Instagram to mark the occasion with pictures and a video of her, John and Lochlan. “I can’t wait to experience what’s in store for the last year of my twenties!”

John and Ingham didn’t share how they met, but confirmed they started dating a year after he uploaded his first Blippi video.
After John proposed in 2021, Ingham shared a celebratory post on Instagram with the caption “2015-Forever… I love you.”

After six years together, John proposed to Ingham on the beach in Malibu, California on August 1, 2021.
“I went from boyfriend to fiance!” he wrote on Instagram next to a series of photos from the proposal. ”@alyssaingham I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with you!”
The couple didn’t share much about their eventual walk down the aisle, but they did Parents in March 2022, they were considering a destination wedding.

John and Ingham welcomed their first child, son Lochlan David John, on March 9, 2022.
“Your mother and I love you very much!❤️ Welcome to the world!” – wrote John on Instagram after the birth of his son.
He also shared how excited he was to put his Blippi skills to use when parenting Lochlan.
“Because I’m a very curious person and want to learn everything — that’s why Blippi videos are what they are — I’m very excited to teach my own child about the interesting things and joys of life,” said John Parents that same month.
Ingham also announced Lochlan’s arrival on Instagram, posting a cute family photo and writing: “Welcome to the world baby boy, we love you so much.”
Since his birth, John and Ingham have continued to share information about Lochlan’s growth, such as documenting his first flight and one of their family Halloween costumes, ode Dumb and Dumber.
She is also a dog’s mom

Lily joined the pack in November 2020 and is Lyn’s “BFF,” according to Ingham. The dogs even have their own Instagram account, where she also shares her passion for adopting rescue dogs.

John and Ingham live in Washington state, where they enjoy outdoor activities and introduce their son to an adventurous lifestyle.

In May 2019, John revealed that he had bought a pair of kayaks for himself and Ingham, and in September of the same year, she posted a selfie of her and her beau on a jet ski.
