Who Is Brock Purdy’s Fiancée? All About Jenna Brandt

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy and Jenna Brandt are engaged!

Purdy got down on one knee in July 2023 — right around the couple’s first anniversary.

The couple first met while attending Iowa State University, where Purdy played football and Brandt was a setter on the volleyball team. She eventually transferred to the University of Northern Iowa in 2021, but it’s clear the pair have stayed in touch.

Brandt was Purdy’s biggest cheerleader — even after being dubbed “Mr. Irrelevant” as the last pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. Purdy proved everyone wrong after 49ers starting quarterbacks Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo both suffered injuries. During his first career start, Purdy defeated superstar Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

So who is Brock Purdy’s fiancee? Here’s everything you need to know about Jenna Brandt.

She grew up in Iowa with three siblings

Brandt was born on October 26, 1999, and grew up in Sumner, Iowa, with her parents, Kevin and Amy Brandt, as well as her three siblings – Kaylyn, Isaiah and Morgan. She attended Sumner-Fredericksburg High School, where she played on the volleyball team all four years and captained the team twice. Brandt also competed in track and field and played on the club’s volleyball team. She joined the Iowa State University volleyball team at the beginning of her senior year and graduated from high school in 2018.

She is very close to her family

Brandt comes from a close-knit family, which can often be seen appearing on his Instagram profile. She says spending time with her parents and siblings is one of her favorite things, and even said her siblings were a big influence on why she chose to attend Iowa State.

“Family time is big for me. I like spending time with my family,” Brandt said in the introduction video for her Iowa State team, adding, “I also like to volunteer in the community.”

After graduating high school, Brandt headed to Iowa State in Ames, Iowa, where she majored in kinesiology. That same year, Purdy also committed to Iowa State, making the two freshmen at the same time. Although the couple did not reveal how exactly they met, it is likely that their paths first crossed when they were in college.

During her studies, she was a competitive volleyball player

Brandt continued her volleyball career during college as a setter for the Iowa State Cyclones. During her freshman year, she also tried out for the US Collegiate National Team and the US Women’s Volleyball National Team. She went on to play for the Cyclones for three seasons, including trip to South America compete against international teams.

Then, in late 2020, Brandt announced her plans to transfer to the University of Northern Iowa, writing on Instagram that she was grateful for the “opportunities, experiences and friendships” she made at Iowa State. Rejoicing, she shared that she was “pumped to join the Panther family.”

Brandt ended her collegiate volleyball career in 2022, calling it a “dream come true” to wear a UNI jersey and thanking the university for a “life-changing experience.”

Although Brandt and Purdy appeared together on social media during the summer of 2022, they did not officially go public on Instagram until November of that year. In a post on Brandt’s account, she shared a series of photos of Purdy and her family spending time on the farm.

Brandt titled the slides “my roots and my boy,” while Purdy called Brandt “my girl” in the comments.

Purdy has already introduced Brandt to his family, including his parents, Shawn and Carrie Purdy, and his siblings. Brandt was first shown hanging out with Purdy’s family in July 2022 when his sister Whittney posted photos of the group at a Morgan Wallen concert together.

Since then, Brandt has posted several photos of himself spending time with Purdy’s family at 49ers games and even ringing in the New Year together.

It’s a big endorsement of Purdy’s NFL career

As a fellow athlete, Brandt was incredibly supportive of Purdy’s football career. She has been seen at several 49ers games, fully decked out in team merchandise.

“Always cheering you on baby,” Brandt captioned an October 2023 Instagram photo of her and Purdy hugging from the side. In the comments, he replied: “My girl ❤️.”

Purdy proposed on a dock in Saint Cloud, Florida.

“My girlfriend Jenna forever. I can’t wait to be your husband and grow together in Christ. This is forever baby. I love you JB!” the quarterback captioned a series of engagement photos on Instagram.

In a separate Instagram post, Brandt wrote, “WE CAN LIVE TOGETHER…FOREVER! Brock Purdy – I love everything about you and your heart for Jesus more than any words can say.”

Her bachelorette party was in Colorado

Brandt celebrated her bachelorette party in Telluride, Colorado with eight girls, including Purdy’s sister Whitney. They spent the weekend skiing and exploring the mountain town.

“Snowwwwww in love w/ @brock.purdy13,” Brandt captioned a series of pictures on Instagram. “Best friends in the best place for the best weekend.”
