On Wednesday, October 19, 30 new singles will join the hit Netflix show Love is Blind to discover their ideal partner. While candidates will not be able to see each other, they will be able to talk in a closed box separated by a wall. They will have ten days to fall in love and get engaged before seeing each other for the last time. The couples will then go on their honeymoon and meet their partner’s family before deciding whether to say “I do” at the wedding altar.
DaVonté Black, 29, is one of the singles looking for love this season. He’s a fitness enthusiast looking for someone who is “bold, strong, independent, fitness-loving, and smart.”
Who is DaVonté Black?
DaVonté is a native of Rowlett, Texas. He attended Lakeview Centennial High School, where he won three football letters. He also ran to the school and received two letters. However, he retired from athletics at the age of 24. DaVonté has spent the past 5 years as a fitness and development coach. A typical session with him is included in his 4-week $250 DIY training program.
He specializes in athletic performance, functional training and muscle development, and has worked with both beginners and those with over 30 years of experience in the bodybuilding industry. DaVonté works at SMTF Dallas and has a fitness Instagram account with the hashtag # @db purestrength. He says he exercises regularly because he takes exercise very seriously. He suspects that his obsession with fitness is causing his partner anxiety. DaVonté’s personal Instagram account, @black sparrow23, currently has around 1,500 followers.

What can we expect from Love Is Blind Season 3?
The Love Is Blind Season 3 teaser teases some high-octane drama, with one guy suggesting they “swap” fiancées. Another cast member wondered if she’d meet her wife at the grocery store, while another hoped to meet her husband on the show. Some actors have even been found telling “crazy” stories to their unidentified spouses.
The honeymoon is also predicted to be very crazy, as the whole crew is seen partying and one guy says he has a lot of unresolved worries about his fiancée. Another actor who will be portrayed on his honeymoon feels attracted to various women. The teaser also reveals other weddings, with a woman stepping out of the altar.
The Dallas sequel began filming shortly after the end of season 2 of Love is Blind. The series’ creator, Chris Coelen, told Metro that the upcoming season will be significantly different from seasons 1 and 2. Among the couples who have previously married in front of the camera are:

- Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl (now divorced)
- Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely (now divorced)
- Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed
The first four episodes of Love is Blind Season 3 will be available on Netflix on October 19 at 3 p.m. ET. Episodes 5-7 will be released on October 26, followed by the next three episodes on Netflix on November 2.
