“He was working in London from time to time and away from his family, and I was here and there and sometimes away from mine. And we just got over that,” Speleers said. “I feel like we’ve grown closer.”

Macey is a costume designer who has worked on notable projects such as Into the forest, The lady in the van and His dark materialsaccording to her IMDb.

Although it is not clear how Macey and Speleers first met, both were working Downton Abbey at the same time — Speleers had a recurring role as Jimmy Kent on Downton Abbey from 2012 to 2014, while Macey worked as a personal dresser from 2012 to 2013.

They reportedly got married in 2014

Although Speleers and Macey did not publicize their wedding, the two reportedly tied the knot in a low-key ceremony sometime in 2014, when Speleers began referring to Macey as his wife.

They have two children together

The couple is the parent of two children, a son named Jude and a daughter born in 2018. During an interview with Guard In 2016, Speleers spoke openly about his decision to become a dad.

“I’ll be honest,” Speleers began. “Having a child wasn’t on my radar right away, but it’s the best thing in the world and I’m so lucky to have them both in my life.”

They have a dog named Frank

In addition to sharing two children, Speleers and Macey have a dog named Frank, who regularly appears on the actor’s Instagram, in photos from the beach, walks and the couple’s two children.
