Back in the Groove is a fresh new reality television dating series that will debut on Hulu in less than a week. The next episode will introduce viewers to three women in their forties. These ladies will give love a second try by dating guys their own age. The next series will launch on Netflix on Monday, December 5, 2022, at 12 a.m. ET/ 11 p.m. CT.
Back in the Groove will be hosted by Taye Diggs, a well-known TV personality, actor, and singer, and will consist of eight episodes. The next series will feature ladies who come to the Groove Hotel to try whether they can fall in love with a guy younger than them. While three ladies are yearning for true love, 24 young singletons will attempt to impress them. With plenty of drama and confrontations, audiences won’t have to wait long for Back in the Groove to launch. According to the show’s official synopsis:
“Three single women in their 40s will check OUT of their comfort zones and check INTO The Groove Hotel, a magnificent resort on the gorgeous island of the Dominican Republic – where the objective is to regain their youth, live blissfully, and maybe find love with guys HALF. THEIR. AGE.” “You can’t fall in love with someone else until you fall in love with yourself,” as the adage goes.
It goes on:
“At the Groove Hotel, these three ladies will be able to do both!” Whether they discover the ideal fling, friendship, real love, or whatever in between, this is their time to take responsibility and overcome the double standards that older women confront on a daily basis. And they’re going to have a great time doing it! Taye Diggs, who knows a thing or two about getting into the groove, hosts the program.”
Giuseppe Pizano, from Aspen, is one of the singletons who will feature on Back in the Groove. Giuseppe was homeless in high school following a fierce disagreement with his mother, who told him he would never achieve anywhere in life.
Back in the Groove Giuseppe lived in his high school bleachers.
Giuseppe has come a long way since being homeless in high school. In 2017, he delivered his first Ted Talk, in which he opened up about his painful life story. He said that at the time, he had a fierce dispute with his mother, and when he returned home from school the following day, he discovered that his house had been locked and everything in it had been stolen.
The Back in the Groove performer said that he spent the following year living in the high school bleachers. He admitted to stealing food from 7-Eleven and washing his face in the school fountain. Later, to keep himself off the streets, he enrolled in after-school activities.
He said in his Ted Talk:
“I consider myself fortunate since I was carrying a bag.” And because I met some of the most beautiful, kind, and brave individuals along the road, who not only helped me get through this time, but who have left a lasting effect on my heart.”
He has over 2800 Instagram followers and is the CEO of The Dry Amendment. His LinkedIn profile states that
“The Dry Amendment is a chic mixology speakeasy in the center of New York City.”
Giuseppe has an active social media presence and often publishes photos from his modeling engagements and trips with his buddies. If you want to learn more about Giuseppe, Back in the Groove will air on Hulu on December 5 at 12 a.m. ET.
