Haven Madison, season 21 of American Idol, is the daughter of Building 429 lead singer Jason Roy.

Haven Madison is a teenager from Clarksville, Tennessee. She was selected as a US platinum chart at the prestigious American Music Awards at an early age. By the way, Haven is the daughter of Jason Roy of the Grammy-nominated contemporary Christian band Building 429.

Haven grew up in a touring van, according to her Spotify profile. Her father, who often travels on business, brings his family so she is homeschooled until a certain age. Haven discovered her love of music while touring with her father. She has previously released some of her own songs, such as the EP All Things I Don’t Say, in which she performed a duet with her brother. In an exclusive interview with Clarksville Now, Haven talked about her first gig and how her father encouraged her to do it:

“‘Let’s go out and sing with him!’ he urged. Absolutely not, I said. ‘I’ll give you 20 dollars if you go there!’ “I’ll give you $40 if you go out there and sing like you’re back,” he added.

She recounted her most memorable performance at the opening of Hill Fest:

“’Haven Madison: Opening,’ it wrote. It’s weird to see my name on the shirt; someone asked me to sign everything and they wanted to take a picture with me. ‘What is this world?’ I was wondering. And that was the first moment I thought, This is my brand.”

“I walked in and thought, ‘Dude, maybe I’ll come over, sing my song, Thanks for coming, now get out.’ I was still sure this was a scam until I stood in front of the three judges.”
