Jeff Ross, also known as Jeffrey Ross Lifschultz, was born in Springfield, New Jersey on September 13, 1965. He grew up in a Jewish family.
He attended Jonathan Dayton High School, and at the age of 10, he earned a black belt in taekwondo. Boston University’s School of Communication is where Ross trained. He addressed the WTBU BU even though he was still a student. He previously worked for an affiliate of NPR.
