Jordin Sparks was born in Phoenix, Arizona on December 22, 1989 to Jodi and Phillippa Sparks. Her brother is a football player at Arizona Christian University. Until 2006, she attended Northwest Community Christian School and then Sandra Day O’Connor High School. She was then homeschooled to concentrate on her singing.
