Who is Kavuma Dauda? Wikipedia – Kavuma Dauda is the Ugandan official manager and founder of the Triplets Foundation which is a trio of young dancers from Uganda. This foundation gained worldwide fame after winning the golden buzzer in the middle of Britain’s Got Talent. Who is Kavuma Dauda? Wikipedia, Biography

Kavuma Dauda was born in 1979 in Butambala during a turbulent period in Uganda’s history. As of 2023, he is 37 years old. His zodiac sign and religion are unknown. He obtained the diploma of professor of mathematics in 2007.

During the first 6 years of his life, Uganda was embroiled in a devastating civil war. Kavuma’s father passed away leaving his mother to take care of their children. Kavuma learned a lot about how to hustle from a young age.

Kavuma told TRT Afrika,

“When they call me “Dad…Dad…Dad” I feel comforted. When they dance, they forget about all their problems. I teach them to dance and love. They love each other like brothers and sisters even if they don’t come from the same family. This is our first competition we have participated in and this is our first success.”

Golden Buzzer annual dance and judging competition held in the United Kingdom where Kavuma’s dance foundation Ghetto Kids was highly rated and reached the semi-finals.

Dauda said,

“Our group is called Ghetto Kids and I created this group to give a second life to these children even though they lost their family members. I’m working hard to get these kids into school.”

On May 20, 2023, The Ghetto Kids performed in the United Kingdom. Ghetto Kids member, Ssegirinya Madwanah said about Kavuma after the Ghetto Kids performance,

“Being part of Ghetto Kids gave me a lot of opportunities in my life. He feeds me, pays my school fees and buys me clothes. If one of us is sick, we are sick, and if one is happy, we are all happy.”

Ssegirinya said,

“Even if Mr. Kavuma David is not our real father, he is the one who takes care of us. Thanks to Papa Kavuma, we came here to London. We have come here to perform and we will show the world that there are children in Uganda who dance with their heart.”

During the performance of Ghetto Kids, the audience was delighted when Josephine Busingya entered with a doll on her back. Josephine is a five-year-old dancer from Ghetto Kids.

little Josephine Busingye told the judges,

“My name is Josephine and I am five years old.”

Referee Bruno Tonioli said in the video,

“You can be proud of yourself. I had a great time – I’ll be glad to see you at the next round.”
