What was the case?
Glasgow admitted in his plea agreement that in 2018 alone he withdrew $407,450.00 in cash from the bank accounts of one of his non-profit groups and used the money for his own benefit. He was legally required to report the funds on his tax return as income because he used the money for personal expenses.
However, Glasgow did not even submit a report for that year. Glasgow also attempted to cover up this activity by having their tax preparer fill out bogus IRS 990 forms for Glasgow nonprofits, greatly understating their income and omitting the financial benefits Glasgow derived from them.
