William Tell and the reality star turned lifestyle mogul first met when Conrad, who starred on MTV Laguna Beach and Hillshe was in high school.

“I signed a solo deal a year or two after I left the band and went on tour and did the whole thing,” he told Above the Law in 2014. “It got to the point where I was approaching 30, fast, and I didn’t make it on my own . I have had success, but music is a job for young people. You really have to be between 17 and 25 to commit a burglary, although there are exceptions.”

Tell reunited with his Something Corporate bandmates in 2023 for several shows, including an appearance at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas and a two-night New Year’s Eve bash in Anaheim.

After quitting music, Tell decided he wanted to go to law school, so he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California (USC), majoring in music business.

“I didn’t really want to go back to undergrad, but I had to get a college degree to go to law school,” he told Above the Law. “I wanted to go to law school because I’ve always been fascinated by government, politics, history.”

Tell entered USC Gould School of Law in 2011 and graduated in 2014. During his education, he interned at Warner Bros Records and the entertainment law firm Ziffren Brittenham.

Conrad and Tell were married a year later on September 13, 2014, at a boutique winery in Santa Ynez, California.

Conrad’s nine bridesmaids, including herself Laguna Beach and Hills Costar Lo Bosworth, wore a selection of dresses from her clothing line Paper Crown.

Although Tell has an Instagram account, he rarely posts and prefers to keep his personal life private. However, he shared a screenshot of Conrad’s podcast, Looking for friendsreaching number one in May 2019.

“My wife!” he captioned the post.

In February 2021, Conrad offered an explanation for Tello’s lack of social media presence, saying he “hates photos”.
