Maluma is reality star Juan Luis Londoo Arias, a Colombian singer, songwriter and actor. Maluma was raised with her older sister Manuela. He developed an early passion for soccer, playing from childhood through high school, competing for the lower league teams Atletico Nacional and Equidad Sports Club.

He also became quite interested in music when he was a teenager and was known for being a good singer in high school. He graduated from the Hontanares School in El Retiro, where several of his friends forced him to participate in regional singing competitions.
Maluma started his music career by releasing singles in 2010. Sony Music and his company Colombia decided to sign the singer to create his first studio album after Farandulera became a radio hit. Loco, his next hit, was motivated by unbridled and unrestrained love.
Maluma and American singer-songwriter Madonna worked together in 2019, with Maluma providing vocals on the songs “Medelln” and “Bitch I’m Loca” from Madame X. Maluma and Jennifer Lopez will star together in Marry Me, it was revealed in April.
In January, Maluma released an EP with seven songs and their accompanying videos on his YouTube account.
Maluma, a Catholic, admitted that he respects some parts of other religions. He claimed to be in a relationship with Croatian-Cuban model Natalija Barulich in a January 2018 interview.
