Mandy Harvey was born Amanda Lynn Harvey on January 2, 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the lovely daughter of Joe and Valerie Harvey, who both work as public school teachers. She moved to Florida with her family when she was two years old. Mandy has three siblings and has loved singing since she was four. She entered so many competitions that in 2006 she was named “Best Female Singer” at Longmont High School.
Then, at the age of 18, she developed a connective tissue disorder, due to which she repeatedly had hearing problems. Her family moved to Longmont, Colorado when she was ten years old. She attended Twin Peaks Charter School. In 2006, she enrolled in vocal studies at Colorado State University. Then she lost her hearing, because of which she had to leave school.
