Michaella Mccollum Wiki:- Michaella Mccollum hit the headlines and became a household name for all the wrong reasons back in 2013. The then 19-year-old girl from Northern Ireland, along with Melissa Reid from Lenzie, Scotland, were partying on the island of Ibiza when they secured 5,000 pounds for the transport of class A drugs.
Both were caught at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Peru on August 6, 2013, with 11 kg of cocaine in their suitcases, which were hidden in cereal packages, with an actual value of almost 2 million euros.
It became one of the most famous drug-trafficking cases, and the duo were nicknamed the Peru Two after their highly publicized legal case.

Right now, both are in the spotlight as a new Netflix documentary series hit the platform in the past few days. Entitled High: Confessions of an Ibiza Drug Mule.
It tells the story of the trial of Peru Two with a special focus on Michaella McCollum, who is extensively interviewed and also provides narration for the series.

Michaella McCollum in prison
Michaella McCollum was jailed for 6 years and 8 months in a Peruvian prison in December 2014, but was released on parole after serving 2 years and 3 months in March 2016 – with Melissa Reid, who was also released in June of the same years .
During her time in prison, McCollum took a beauty therapy course with the goal of becoming a hairdresser.
Book by Michaela McCollum
Michaella McCollum wrote a book about her experiences in prison, and the title of the book is You’ll Never See Daylight Again. In her book, she also recalled facing countless scenes of homoerotic relations that happened before her.
