Penn State Drew Allar’s #1 fan is his longtime girlfriend, Emma Bush.

The couple has been together since at least 2019, when they were students at Medina High School in Ohio, according to Instagram. Despite attending different colleges — Allar plays football at Penn State and Bush is a law student at Ohio State University — they’ve successfully maintained a long-distance relationship.

In his third year at Penn State, Allar led his team to the semifinals of the 2024-25 College Football Playoff. They will face Notre Dame in Miami on January 9th, with the winner advancing to the College Football Playoff on January 20th.

“I love you so much,” Bush wrote in the comments section of one of Allar’s Instagram posts after Penn State’s Dec. 31 quarterfinal win over Boise State. The quarterback replied, “I love you too.”

Bush and Allar attended Medina High School in Medina, Ohio – a small town not far from Cleveland.

They’ve been dating since at least 2019 and have been to each other’s several school dances, including homecoming in 2021 and prom in 2022.

Allar and Bush graduated high school in 2022 and decided to attend different colleges. The quarterback committed to Penn State, while Bush chose nearby Ohio State.

Bush is a student at Ohio State studying strategic communications and business. According to her LinkedIn page, she has a law degree and interned at the Clark & ​​Lowe law firm in Columbus, Ohio.

She is also a reporter for Ohio State’s campus newspaper, Lantern.

She’s in a sorority

During her freshman year at Ohio State, Bush joined Tri Delta.

“Ran home to 229,” she wrote on Instagram after receiving her sorority offer in January 2023.

A few months later, Allar joined Bush in Ohio for the Tri Delta spring formal. She shared photos from the evening on Instagram, including an adorable selfie of the couple.

She attended several of Allar’s high school and college football games

Bush has been Allar’s biggest fan since his high school days in Medina. She now often travels 325 miles from Ohio to Pennsylvania to watch her sweetheart play at Beaver Stadium.

In October 2022, during Allara’s first season as a Nittany Lion, Bush shared a photo of himself hugging the quarterback before a game.

“Saturdays >,” she captioned the cute Instagram pic. Allar responded with the emoticon “🫶🏼” in the comments.

She supported Allar during the college football playoffs

Allar led the Nittany Lions to the College Football Playoff in 2024-25. After finishing the regular season 11-2, they defeated Southern Methodist University in the first round before securing a quarterfinal win over Boise State at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl in Arizona, which Bush proudly attended.

Now, Penn State faces Notre Dame in the Capital One Orange Bowl on Jan. 9. Ahead of the game, Bush was already soaking up the sun in Miami, according to her Instagram Stories.
