In 2006, she booked a major advertising campaign for an Australian tourism agency – but the ads proved controversial. Of their wedding, Lara said: “It was very intimate — we’d just stopped off in Melbourne where Sam’s family is from. It was just our families, less than 10 people. Sam and Lara are the parents of three boys. The couple kept the news of Lara’s pregnancy a secret until the arrival of their first child, Rocket Zot, on March 24, 2015.

The family of five moved from Los Angeles to NYC in early 2022 and got used to life in the city.

In 2022, Sam opened up about his addiction story and credited Lara with helping him get sober.
