Shannon Sharpe was born on the 26th of June 1968 in Chicago, Illinois, United States and he is fifty-four years old as of 2022. He lost his father at a young age to lung cancer and grew up in Glenville, Georgia, where he attended Glenville High School and was an all-state performer in three sports – football, basketball, and track, and field.
He ranks third among tight ends in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns, and is considered one of the best tight ends of all time. Additionally, he was the first tight end in the NFL with over 10,000 receiving yards.
