The couple in love dated for more than two years before they decided to take their relationship to the next level. On August 25, 2002, they exchanged wedding vows. The ceremony was held in Santa Barbara, California. When asked by the media about her relationship with her ex-addict husband, she said: “They say you shouldn’t get into a relationship during the first year of recovery, especially with someone in the program, but Paul and I fell in love right away.”
Yasmine even said that she had a wonderful life with her husband. She further said that if she continued down that path of self-destruction, she would risk losing everything. She continued, No amount of illicit narcotics can make her as happy as her husband.”
