Why Alex Hall Is Being Labeled The Villain Of Selling The OC

Selling The OC fans have labeled cast member Alex Hall the villain this season, and there are many reasons why she deserves that title. Selling The OC is the second spin-off of the real estate reality Netflix series, Selling Sunset. Unlike its parent show, Selling The OC features a mix of male and female realtors. Besides Hall, the rest of the Selling The OC cast includes Alexandra Jarvis, Alexandra Rose, Kayla Cardona, Tyler Stanaland, Sean Palmieri, Brandi Marshall, Gio Helou, Lauren Shortt, and models Austin Victoria and Polly Brindle.

Even though Selling The OC tried to paint the duo Jarvis and Rose as the villains, it quickly became clear to fans the real villain was Hall. Viewers first noticed Hall’s villainous ways by how she handled a situation with fellow castmate Gio. The fellow realtor approached Hall in private to talk about how his wife, Tiffany Helou, felt Hall ignored her at the office party; however, they seemed to resolve the issue after their conversation. Shortly after, Hall brought up the issue again in front of the rest of the Selling The OC cast, which includes bullies, during their office beach day, and everyone was seemingly against Gio.

Selling The OC fans did not appreciate how quickly Hall turned on Kayla, considering the two were friends. Kayla was supposedly drunk at a hangout with some agents from the office and tried to kiss their colleague Tyler which Hall did not like. Viewers watched Kayla become vulnerable with Hall multiple times on Selling The OC, so it was shocking that Hall would speak so terribly of Kayla behind her back. She immediately became hostile toward Kayla at the office, and the two even got into a heated argument during an office meeting.

Selling The OC fans did not like how Hall treated Jarvis and Rose, who’s blocked by Selling The OC castmates. At the start of the series, the duo was isolated from the rest of the group after Hall called them mean girls and bullies. However, to viewers, Hall was the one being a mean girl and a bully to Jarvis and Rose. She was always saying horrible things about the women to their colleagues and even spread a few rumors about how Rose gets listings from clients. In the office meeting with the Selling The OC cast and Selling Sunset’s Jason Oppenheim, Hall told Jarvis that her voice was annoying, which fans felt was a pinnacle mean girl moment for Hall. Every time Hall would even see Jarvis and Rose, she would say how no one wanted them around.

Hall, who has an interior design background, recently spoke about how she felt about being labeled the villain. She admitted there is more going on behind the scenes that viewers do not know about and how they shouldn’t be so quick to judge. Overall, fans are hoping Hall will be able to redeem herself if Selling The OC returns for another season.
