Although Billie Eilish plans to give it her all on her upcoming tour, she has no intention of performing on stage for three hours.
While this concert length seems to be a common thread among touring artists like Eric Church, Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen these days, Eilish has made it clear that fans shouldn’t expect it from her performances on the upcoming Hit Me Hard Tour and Soft.
“I’m not doing a three-hour show, that’s literally psychotic,” Eilish, 22, said during a pop-in chat with fans on the Stationhead app, according to a fan recording on X.
She continued: “Nobody wants that. You don’t want that. I do not want it. I don’t even want that as a fan. My favorite artist in the world, I don’t try to listen to them for three hours. That’s too long.”

Eilish announced the tour, which is in support of her latest album, on April 29, with dates starting in September in North America. He will also tour Australia, Europe, Great Britain and Ireland.
Eilish released Hit me hard and soft May 17. In April, she opened the ua Rolling stone cover story about how this project felt like it was reverting back to the 2019 version of itself.
“I feel like this album is me,” she said. “It’s not a character. It feels like When we all fall asleep, where do we go? version of me. I feel like I was in my youth and how I was as a child.”

Her brother Finneas agreed and said the album came from a place where Eilish reconnected with her younger self.
“In a way, it grows further [the album] meant rethinking a lot of things,” he said. “I feel like this album has some real spirits in it, and I say that with love.”

“The ideas on this album are five years old, and there’s also the past, which I really like,” he continued. “When Billie talks about the era of When we all fall asleep, it was this theatricality and this darkness. What is nobody as good as Billie? This album was an exploration of what we do best.”
Following the album’s release, both expressed their excitement with Finneas calling the project his “favorite thing I’ve ever been a part of.”
The “Happier Than Ever” singer wrote on her account: “@finneas and I put so much into this album and we’ve never loved anything more.”
