Reports say that on the morning of July 7, 2023, around 06:15, Vijayjumar was found by his assailant in his camp office at his official residence and as soon as the news spread, the entire community was excited. During the investigation, the assailant affirms that the deceased officer borrowed his service pistol before entering his room and a few minutes later he heard the sound of shots. He immediately ran to the room where he found the lifeless body of the dead officer. He immediately called an ambulance and was met by a police officer, but doctors pronounced him dead.
